Who we are

Prikkie is published by Gridline Design (The Ligma Company), Prof. E.M. Meijerslaan 1, 1183 AV Amstelveen, Nederland, KvK 73706442. You can reach us at [email protected]. We are the controller for the little personal data described below.

Prikkie is an independent app. It is not affiliated with any pharmacy, clinic, manufacturer or shop, and it sells nothing except its own optional subscription.

What stays on your phone

Prikkie stores the following in its own storage on your device:

• the medicines and peptides you track, their schedules and reminder times;
• your shots: date, time, injection site, the dose you entered, notes and side effects;
• your weight entries, height, goal and the answers you gave during onboarding;
• your settings, such as language and reminders.

Much of this is health data under the GDPR (Article 9). It never reaches us: there is no Prikkie server that receives it, we cannot read it, and we cannot recover it for you. If you delete the app, or use "Delete all my data" in Settings, it is gone. Backups made by your phone (Google backup, iCloud) may include it, under your own backup settings and Google's or Apple's terms.

Subscriptions

Prikkie Premium is sold through Google Play or the App Store. The store handles the payment, your payment details and renewals. We never see your card or bank details.

To know whether your subscription is active, the app uses RevenueCat, Inc. (United States), our subscription service provider. When you open the paywall, buy, restore or the app checks your subscription, RevenueCat receives:

• a random app user ID created on your device, not linked to your name or e-mail;
• your purchase history in Prikkie: which plan, when, the price and currency, the store's transaction ID and whether it is a trial;
• technical data needed for the request: app version, operating system, device locale and country, and your IP address.

We use this only to unlock Premium on your device and to see, in aggregate, how subscriptions are doing. Legal basis: performance of the contract you entered into when subscribing (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). RevenueCat processes this data on our behalf under a data processing agreement, with the safeguards the GDPR requires for transfers outside the EU. Purchase records are kept as long as needed for the subscription and for our legal bookkeeping obligations (7 years under Dutch tax law). No health data is ever sent to RevenueCat.

What we do not do

• We do not sell or share your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
• We do not use analytics, crash reporting or advertising software.
• We do not use your data to calculate, suggest or adjust doses. Prikkie is a logbook, not a medical device.

Reminders

If you turn on reminders, Prikkie schedules a notification on your phone itself. Nothing is sent to us or to a notification service of ours.

Export

Settings lets you export your data as a file. You choose where it goes; after that, the terms of the place you sent it apply.

Links in the library

The reference library cites its sources. Opening one takes you to that website in your browser, under its own privacy policy.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, export and erase your personal data, to object, and to complain to a supervisory authority; in the Netherlands that is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).

The data on your phone you manage yourself: view, edit, export or delete it in the app. For your subscription record at RevenueCat, e-mail [email protected] and we will help, for example by deleting it. Cancelling a subscription is done in Google Play or the App Store.

Children

Prikkie is meant for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

If we change this policy we update the date above, and for important changes we tell you in the app first.
